VIGOUR is a company founded in 2019 March Pretoria South Africa by an anonymous individual who uses the pseudonym FRANK TALK . The name comes from the mixing of words and numbers . Vigour is a synonym for energy and MMXIX is a Roman numeral which is 2019 when the company was founded . The reason for the name comes from the core mission . Like energy ideas can't die but only be propagated through various means and mediums .
Vision
Vigours operates like a Micro/Marco Trojan horse in the sense that we are here to propagate ideas and reinforce dialogue and public consciousness through product/design.
Mission
A determined pursuit to challenge the idea of representation of certain demographics through the usage of media/design which by default questions static ideologies of what African design is and what it looks like . Also challenge preconceived notions of beauty whether progressive or regressive.
Goals and Objectives
To have a democratic approach to design that is thoughtful honest and intellectual whilst still being economical in a sense that it appeals to the proletariat class
